It is always imperative that you know your skin type before you follow these simple get bright skin steps. You can either have oily skin, dry skin, or combination skin. Either way, make sure you analyze your skin before you choose any kinds of cleansers of products.
To get bright skin, you first must choose a good cleanser. Soap is only good for anything that is neck down. It can actually be damaging to your face, since the ingredients in the soap are a little harsh for your face. So find a good cleanser for your face and then for your body. For your face, I recommend a light cleanser that won't be too harsh on your face and that contains salicylic acid so that you can maintain a pimple-free face. Wet your face with warm water and apply a dime-sized amount of cleanser on. Rinse off with cold water as the cold water will minimize yourpores.
Next step to getting brighter skin: exfoliating. You must exfoliate
both face and body. For the body, I recommend exfoliating 2-3 times a week for softer, younger looking skin, and of course to get rid of dead skin cells. For the face, use a light exfoliating scrub only once a week. Make a routine to exfoliate your face every Saturday. If you have oily skin you can exfoliate about 3-4 times a week. In the summer, exfoliating needs to be kicked up a notch because the sweat acts like glue to your skin and so it will cause the dead skin cells to stick together and coat your face and body.
Third step to getting brighter skin: moisturizer. As we are on the subject of brightness, I suggest a shimmery lotion for your body such as Nivea Silky Shimmer Lotion. Slather some on your legs, arms, chest, and shoulders and you
will look super hot as well as your skin will give out a nice glow. For your face, use a good moisturizing lotion that will calm your skin (you'll feel it). Be careful not to over do it because your pores can clog very easily.
Last step, apply sunscreen ( for the shimmery body lotion, apply the sunscreen before). Sun can cause a lot of damage to your skin as well as age your skin at a much faster rate. So take care of your skin and skip the blazing hot rays because in the need it really isn't worth it!
